Ukrainian engineers have developed an effective solution: a complex system of multi-stage depolymerization and catalytic reforming.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd04 How does the technology work?<\/h3>\n\n<p>Multi-stage thermal treatment of organic waste in a closed volume allows:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Recycle plastics (PET, PVC, PE, PP, etc.), rubber waste, organic household and industrial waste.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Get useful products:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Biofuel (liquid petroleum product)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A combustible gas that can be used to generate energy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bio-Char is an environmentally friendly carbon residue that can be used in filters, as a raw material for rubber, paints, or even as fertilizer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Metal cord made from recycled tires<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u26a1 Energy potential of the complex<\/h3>\n\n<p>The recycling process allows not only to recycle waste, but also to produce electricity and other commercial products:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Electricity\u00a0\u2014 produced from the heat of exhaust gases or by burning combustible gas.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Hydrogen (H\u2082) is obtained during the separation of process gases. Up to 70 kg of hydrogen in 24 hours from one installation!<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Dry ice\u00a0\u2013 is made from filtered carbon dioxide produced in the process.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/avelife.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/%D1%83%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%BA%D0%B0.jpg?w=1170&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1240\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proposed version of the processing complex<\/h3>\n\n<p>The complex includes several lines for processing waste of various morphologies:&#13;\n1\ufe0f\u20e3 Sorting line &#8211; primary processing of mixed household waste (MHW).&#13;\n2\ufe0f\u20e3 Shredders and depolymerization unit &#8211; thermal decomposition of waste without access to oxygen.&#13;\n3\ufe0f\u20e3 Tanks for storing biofuel, gas and carbon residue.&#13;\n4\ufe0f\u20e3 Generator lines for generating electricity from heat or gas.&#13;\n5\ufe0f\u20e3 Purification systems for filtering carbon dioxide and producing dry ice.<\/p>\n\n<p>The complex allows for efficient waste processing to produce energy and useful products used in:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Petrochemical and energy industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agriculture (fertilizers).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Production of materials of the future, such as graphene.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf1f Why is this important?<\/h3>\n\n<p>\u2705 Environmental friendliness: the recycling process does not create harmful emissions, and the solid residues are completely inert.&#13;\n\u2705 Efficiency: 100% waste recycling without the need to dispose of residues.&#13;\n\u2705 Resource saving: the ability to reuse the resulting products in an unlimited number of cycles.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udce2 Ukraine is on the path to sustainable development<\/h3>\n\n<p>This project demonstrates that innovation can change the future.
