This prevents their migration into groundwater and plant biomass.<\/p>\n\n<p>According to the Institute&#8217;s patent, glauconite acts as a protective bioplatform for microbiota. The porous structure of the mineral eliminates osmotic stress and temperature fluctuations for hydrocarbon-oxidizing bacteria and nitrogen fixers.
