The problem of effective management of municipal solid waste (MSW) is becoming increasingly urgent. An innovative project of an energy complex for processing mixed waste offers a modern solution that not only minimizes its impact on the environment, but also generates valuable commodity resources.
Main advantages of the project
1. Energy independence of the plant:
The complex is equipped with its own electrical installations that operate on combustible gas or liquid fuel obtained during waste processing. This eliminates dependence on external power grids.
2. Flexible pricing:
Thanks to the production of synthetic petroleum products, the plant can independently set prices, creating competitive advantages in the market.
3. Ability to adapt to new technologies:
In the event of a change in energy priorities, the complex can be quickly converted to produce hydrogen, which is a promising fuel of the future.
4. Heat use for agricultural holdings:
The thermal energy generated during the operation of the complex can provide greenhouses and closed-cycle fish farms, which creates additional sources of income.
5. Production of commodity raw materials:
The technology of MSW processing allows you to obtain carbon black, which is used for the production of filters, briquettes, and boiler fuel.
Technological indicators
The complex is designed to process 195 tons of MSW per day. The output includes:
- up to 86.95 tons of synthetic liquid fuel;
- 23 tons of combustible gas (≈35,560 m³);
- 74 tons of solid carbon residue.
Such productivity makes the project profitable and sustainable in the long term.
