He began his career at the Department of Organic Chemistry in 1980 at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as a lecturer. 1985 - 2018 Chernihiv Taras Shevchenko Pedagogical Institute. Since 2018, Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy at Mykola Gogol Nizhyn State University.
He is the author of more than 170 patents in Ukraine, 1 US patent, and more than 200 scientific publications.
Author of compounds with high in vitro activity against H1N1, SARS, MERS-CoV, etc. Collaborates internationally with the Institute of Molecular Bioscience The University of Queensland, Australia; the US National Institutes of Health at the US Southern Research Institute; the US National Cancer Institute, as part of the Development Therapeutic Program.
