AI in Pharma Procurement 2026: From Reactivity to Proactivity
As of early 2026, the concept of “procurement as a service” is finally a thing of the past. Our institute records a fundamental shift: procurement…
In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in respiratory infections caused by human metapneumovirus (hMPV). According to the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in just one week in December 2024, hMPV was responsible for 6.2% of positive tests for respiratory infections and 5.4% of hospitalizations in China. These figures exceed the incidence of COVID-19, rhinovirus, and adenovirus. Of particular concern is the spread of infection among children under 14 years of age.
Despite the active efforts of the global community, the development of a vaccine against hMPV faces challenges such as the high variability of the virus and insufficient research funding. Therefore, the search for alternative approaches becomes critically important.
Specialists from the Vinnytsia Institute of Nanotechnologies and Organic Products chose a different path – the development of active compounds capable of blocking hMPV replication.
Our institute has many years of experience in creating antiviral drugs, confirmed by international studies. In particular, the effectiveness of our compounds against the influenza virus Flu A H1N1 California/07/2009 was proven at the Southern Research Institute (Alabama). The results were measured by EC50, IC50 and SI in in vitro studies, which indicates the high potential of our developments.
Today, we are ready to provide developed compounds for screening against hMPV and are looking for partners among the world’s leading research centers. Our goal is to find a solution that can effectively prevent virus replication and severe forms of the disease.

We are open to cooperation with virology centers, research institutions, and investors interested in jointly solving the global hMPV problem.
By working together, we can make a significant contribution to reducing morbidity and saving lives.

Growing organic raspberries is always a balancing act between agronomy, climate, and soil biology. These factors were particularly acute in the 2024–2025 season, as weather conditions in central Ukraine were unstable and stressful for the crop.
