Successful result with GREENODIN GRAY in growing organic raspberries
Growing organic raspberries is always work on the border of agronomy, climate and soil biology. In the 2024–2025 season, these factors were particularly acute, because the weather conditions in the central part of Ukraine were unstable and stressful for the crop. That is why the result obtained on the plantation of FOP Yurchak A.P. is a prime example of the effectiveness of a bio-oriented approach to plant nutrition.
Raspberries on this farm are grown using organic technology, without the use of synthetic mineral fertilizers and chemical growth regulators. The main emphasis is on restoring the soil biocenosis and supporting plants in critical phases of development. In such conditions, any agronomic solution must not only be permissible, but actually work.
Climatic conditions of the season: a test for berry growers
The winter of 2024–2025 in Vinnytsia region was characterized by long periods of sub-zero temperatures and uneven snow cover. For raspberries, this meant an increased risk of bud damage and partial freezing of shoots, especially in open areas. Spring plant recovery was slower than in average years.
An additional stress factor was spring frosts that occurred during the active shoot growth phase. Some of the young tissues suffered temperature damage, which usually leads to a loss of potential yield. In standard nutrition systems, this often means thinned plantings and weak ovaries.
In the summer, the situation was complicated by cold nights, atypical for the region at this time. Low night temperatures inhibit the processes of photosynthesis and berry filling, affect the mass and taste indicators. That is why the season cannot be objectively called favorable for growing raspberries.
The role of GREENODIN GRAY in stabilizing the result
The GREENODIN GRAY organic-mineral complex was used as a key element of the nutrition system. Its action is based not on direct “feeding”, but on the formation of an active soil environment with the participation of agronomically beneficial microorganisms. This allows the plant to better adapt to temperature fluctuations and recover from stress.
The presence of a microbiological consortium contributed to the development of the root system and improved the absorption of available nutrients. As a result, even after spring frosts, raspberries quickly restored vegetative mass and formed a full-fledged ovary. Visually, this is manifested in a dense leaf apparatus and uniform development of shoots.
It is also important that GREENODIN GRAY has a cumulative effect. With each season, the need for application decreases, as the soil enters a stable biologically active state. For organic farming, this means predictability of the result and reduction of technological risks.
Actual result on the plantation
Despite the difficult weather conditions, the raspberry plantations maintained high density and uniformity. The bushes were well leafed, with no signs of chronic stress or growth inhibition. The formation of berries occurred evenly along the entire length of the shoots.
The berries have a rich color, uniform size and good marketability. It is important that the quality of the fruits was maintained throughout the entire harvest period, without a sharp “failure” in the middle of the season. This indicates a stable physiology of the plants, and not a short-term effect.
Thus, the result can be considered as an example of successful adaptation of organic berry crops to climatic challenges. GREENODIN GRAY in this system acted not as a “fertilizer”, but as a tool of biological stabilization.
Certified organic production status
The farm of FOP Yurchak Andriy Petrovych is officially recognized as an organic market operator in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and regulations of the European Union. Certification was carried out by the Organic Standard body, the decision was dated 07/24/2025. This means that production is under constant control and meets international requirements.
The certificate confirms the type of activity – production of agricultural products in the field of organic crop production.
Product category – plant products that have not been processed.
Product name: raspberry, status: organic product.
The presence of a valid certificate makes this case particularly valuable, as the resulting harvest is not conditionally “ecological”, but a legally confirmed organic product. This is an important argument for both the consumer and the professional agricultural community.
Growing organic raspberries is always a balancing act between agronomy, climate, and soil biology. These factors were particularly acute in the 2024–2025 season, as weather conditions in central Ukraine were unstable and stressful for the crop.
The AVELIFE Institute of Nanotechnology and Organic Products is developing the direction of nanocellulose as a qualitatively different level of cellulose materials — not just a crushed, but a structurally reinterpreted form of a natural biopolymer.
If you look at organic farming more closely, it ceases to be a marketing label and opens up as a different logic of interaction with the soil. It feels like you are moving from a primitive game of fertilizer to a real strategy for managing a natural system, where the soil is a partner, not an object of influence.
