Influence of different doses of organomineral fertilizers on the development and yield of sunflower plants

The report consists of 19 pages and has 13 tables.

The weather conditions in 2019 were favorable for the growth and development of sunflower, with 186 mm of precipitation or 106% of the normal amount during the growing season. The total water consumption of sunflower from the 0-100 cm soil layer was 2520 m3/ha. The growing season of the Oplot hybrid lasted 109 days. The average yield of the crop in the experiment was 26.5 c/ha.

Oplot sunflower forms the maximum yield levels both at 300 and 500 kg/ha of Greenodin gray fertilizer – 30.9 and 30.7 c/ha, which is 0.4-11.7 c/ha higher than in other variants of the experiment. These variants have the lowest water consumption coefficients – 816-821 m3/t. The use of different doses of fertilizers increased the diameter of the baskets by 4-21%, the weight of 1000 seeds by 2-12%, and the height of plants by 3-25%.

The highest oil content in seeds was also found in seeds when Greenodin gray fertilizer was applied for cultivation, depending on the dose of which it ranged from 47.6 to 47.9% with a share of oleic acid of 76.2-76.6%. This agrotechnical measure also recorded the highest oil yield – 146-148 c/ha.

The highest profitability of 154% and a conditional net profit of 14,970 thousand UAH/ha was obtained when growing sunflower against the background of Greenodin gray, 300 kg/ha. This variant also had the lowest cost of sunflower seeds – 3155 UAH/t.
