METHOD OF TREATMENT OF BECHTEREV’S DISEASE

The method of treatment of Bekhterev’s disease (ankylosing spondylitis) includes the use of a complex of factors of plant and animal origin and bee products. The treatment is carried out in four stages: the first 90-day course, a 10-day break, the second 90-day course, a 10-day break, repetition of the first 90-day course, a 10-day break, repetition of the second 90-day course. The first 90-day course includes daily intake of ant tree bark extract (Pau D’Arco), reindeer antler extract (qigapan), Forever Freedom, Marmota bobak, ANCARCIN Forte (liquid solution), “easy gait” elixir, and the use of Osteos-Oldmed tranedermal preparation. The second 90-day course includes daily intake of adsorbed gallium, Flaraxinum, Osteo Complex (AD Medicine, colloidal solution), Arthro Complex (AD Medicine, colloidal solution), bear fat (Ursus arclos Linnaeus), Esobel-Art, elixir “for joints”, and the use of transdermal Arthos-Oldmed.

The utility model belongs to medicine, in particular neurology, rheumatology, diseases with autoimmune response, and can be used in medical practice in the complex treatment of Bekhterev’s disease (ankylosing spondylitis) with I-III degree of activity of the process.

There is a well-known method of treating Bechterev’s disease with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (butadione, rheopirin, indomethacin, etc.). Broad-spectrum antibiotics (ceftriaxone, nitroxoline, metronidazole) and immunomodulators (cyclophosphine, pirogenal) are also used. In addition, in the case of severe disease, immunosuppressants (immuran, cyclophosphamide, etc.), physical methods of analgesia, balneotherapy, exercise therapy and orthopedic surgery are used (Nasonova V.A., Astapenko M.G. “Clinical Rheumatology”. – Moscow: Medicina, 1989 – P. 336). The disadvantages of the known methods are insufficient treatment effectiveness, toxic and allergic reactions, disease progression, and disability.

A method of treatment of Bekhterev’s disease (ankylosing spondylitis) is known, which includes the use of herbal remedies by oral administration and by rubbing, which include burdock root, birch buds, pine buds, parts of black currant plant, string, cinquefoil herb [Russian Federation Patent for Invention No. 2199333. A61K 35/78. A61R 19/00, published on February 27, 2003].

However, during the boiling of herbs in a steam generator, most of the biologically active compounds (BAS) are destroyed, and the size of the resulting suspended particles that can penetrate the skin is quite large: therefore, the known method of introducing BAS into the body is not very effective. In addition, allergic reactions may occur when rubbing alcohol solutions of herbs into the skin.

The technical task of the utility model is to improve the method of treatment of Bekhterev’s disease (ankylosing spondylitis), which includes the use of oral and rubbing phytopreparations, which include burdock root, birch buds, pine buds, parts of black currant plant, string, cinquefoil herb, by using a complex of factors of plant and animal origin and bee products
