International cooperation remains one of the key areas of the Institute’s development. During the recent working visit of the Institute’s director to the Republic of Kazakhstan, meetings were held with representatives of the scientific community and specialized organizations dedicated to expanding partnerships in the field of ecology, environmental management, and applied research.
One of the practical results of the negotiations was an official appeal from the Center for Asian Innovation and Environmental Research (CAIER, Almaty), which began the formation of a personnel reserve for the Scientific and Technical Council (STC) and a team of executors of future scientific research and innovation projects.

Special attention is paid to specialists who have practical experience in performing scientific research and development work (R&D), participating in international scientific and technical projects, as well as developing innovative solutions for industry and the environmental sector.
The invitation to participate in the formation of the Scientific and Technical Council indicates a high level of trust between scientific institutions and opens up additional opportunities for the development of joint research, exchange of expertise, and preparation of international projects.
The Institute considers such initiatives as an important step towards expanding scientific cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan, developing interdisciplinary research, and creating new international consortia in the fields of ecology, water resources, subsoil use, and biotechnology.
